This department instructs the adminstrative department in developing policies during the process of image shaping for public opinion and in managing the reputation of the institution
The department is saddled with the following responsibility:

- Preparing position papers on the issues of importance to the institution.
- Handling publicity
- Issuing news of activities to the external audiences
- Establishing & maintaining contacts with mass media
- Helping out other departments to promote and publish events announcement and other event related advertisement materials.
- Develop and execute promotional materials.
- Develop a good working climate for the teaching university.
- Managing sponsorship and build relationship with other companies
